Here’s a list and sneak preview of what Jaafar Taib is doing next.

1. “Anak Gajah” (folklore) Title’s subject to change
2. “Jungle Fowl Coffee Table Book” Showcasing 60+ paintings of the red jungle fowl and some backgrounds of the amazing bird.
3. “Creative Portfolio” Showcase of hundreds of paintings and illustrations used by Creative Enterprise on their novels and magazine.
4. “Step-by-step” The most anticipated step-by-step photobook of around 20-30 paintings by him. If the book receive huge hits, expect to see some other painters with their amazing skill to have their own book.

Jaafar Taib is one of the artist that exhibit his art for Malaysian Islamic Art Exhibition 2007 in conjunction with 50 years of independence. For those who are interested, you can view his artwork along with 66 other artist from around Malaysia at Islamic Art Muzium, Kuala Lumpur (Near National Mosque) until September. Heres some pics during the launch last Friday 3 August 2007.
